This guide will show you the initial steps to create your very own guidebook for your property
1. Navigating to "Guidebooks" section
Navigate to "Guidebooks" section on your Booklee dashboard by clicking "Guidebooks" on your Booklee toolbar at the top left.
2. Start creating your Guidebook
If you haven't created any guidebooks previously on Booklee then you will be asked to create a new guidebook. Click on "Create guidebook" to start designing your digital guidebook.
3. Import your property or listing
Booklee helps you save time when designing your guidebook.
For that, you have three options to choose:
1. Pick a property - If you have created your property asset and saved it into Booklee, you can import all of its details into your guidebook and save a lot of time.
2. Import form an existing listing - You can import your existing OTA listing details by copying and pasting your Airbnb or Booking com, or VRBO, or Expedia listing into Booklee.
3. Start from an empty template - This option allows you to start from an empty template and design you guidebook from a scratch.
Once you have selected your property, click continue.
4. Choose your template
Select your guidebook template. You can choose from short-term rentals, bed and breakfast, hotel, camping, destination guide, events and conferences, and other.
Once you've selected your template, click continue.
5. Location of your property
Last but not least, type in the location details of your property. Select the country of your property, type in the name of the city where your property is located, type in the street name, province, state or region, and the postal code.
Make sure that your property pin is displayed at the correct location on the interactive map on the right hand side. You can always drag the pin to a more precise location to help your guests find the property.
Once you've typed in the location of your property, click continue.
6. Guidebooks dashboard
Once you have completed these steps successfully, you will arrive at the Booklee guidebook editor and you can start designing your guidebook.
