Here you will learn how to edit content blocks for your guidebook.
1. Understanding block sections
Once adding new content to your guidebook, you can add a completely new section (first level block) or add new content to existing sections as sub-sections (nested blocks).
It is important to understand these concepts since this is how your property information will be displayed to your guests.
- First level blocks - Main section for a certain topic
- Nested blocks - Sub-sections to existing topics
First level blocks
Think of these content blocks as "sections". These have the most important information about a certain topic to help your guests find the information they need.
Nested blocks
Nested blocks can be segmented into:
- Second level blocks
- Third level blocks
Think of these blocks as "sub-sections". Nested blocks are used to include more detailed information about a certain topic to help your guests find the information they need faster.
For example, if you have a first level block or a "section" about "Arrival Information", you might want to have sub-sections such as:
- "Driving directions" - where you in detail show how to find your property.
- "Access information" - where you show with images or videos how to find the lock box or use your keypad.
