What is "gallery" block?

"Gallery" is a content block you can add to your guidebook. With the gallery block you can display multiple images with a slideshow functionality.

How to use "gallery" content block?

Here are some examples how to use "gallery" content block :

1. Adding additional images of your property;
2. Adding images of local attractions;
3. Adding images of your amenities;

You can tailor "gallery" content block to your own specific needs.

Where to place "gallery" content block?

It is best to use "gallery" content block both as a first level block.

Every new content block that you'll add to your guidebook, regardless of its type, will be placed at the bottom of your existing content blocks on the left hand side editor.

1. Adding "gallery" block

1. Click on "Add block" at the top of guidebook editor.
2. Select "gallery".
3. The new block will be automatically placed at the bottom of your existing blocks.

2. Editing "gallery" block

There are 2 ways you can upload images to your gallery block:

1. From your device
2. From an existing OTA listing

To upload images from your device:

1. Click on "Upload from your device";
2. Select the images you want to upload.

To upload images from an existing listing link:

1. Click on "Upload from listing";
2. Paste in your OTA listing link.

IMPORTANT: The listing link you are pasting/importing must be your guest-facing listing link. And the link you are trying ti import CAN'T be a custom link. It must the default listing link.

• This link won't work: airbnb.com/h/my_vacaiton_home

Current supported OTAs for image import:

• Airbnb
• Booking com
• VRBO
• Google

You can give a "Title" to the gallery block:

1. Click on the "Title" text box;
2. Type in the "Title" of the gallery block.

To hide the block so it is not visible to your guests:

1. Click the "Green slider" button at the top right to hide the block.
2. To make the block visible to your guests, simply click the same slider button once again.

3. Editing images in the"gallery" block

Change the order of images:

1. Click and hold your click;
2. Drag-and-drop where you want to place your image.

Delete an image:

1. Click the "3 dots" on an image you want to delete;
2. Click "Delete".

Edit alt text for an image:

1. Click the "3 dots" on an image you want to delete;
2. Click "Edit alt text".

IMPORTANT: This feature is for SEO optimisation. If you want to improve your Booklee's SEO you should have alt text for all of your images.
