What is "contacts" block?
"Contacts" is a content block you can add to your guidebook to give direct contact details to your property manager or yourself.
How to use "contacts" content block?
Here are some examples how to use "header" content block :
- You can add your email;
- You can add your phone number;
- You can add your Messenger;
- You can add your WhatsApp;
- You can add map link;
- You can add any other type of link/website.
You can tailor "contacts" content block to your own specific needs.
Where to place "contacts" content block?
It is best to use "contacts" content block both as a first level block.
Every new content block that you'll add to your guidebook, regardless of its type, will be placed at the bottom of your existing content blocks on the left hand side editor.
1. Adding "contacts" block
- Click on "Add block" at the top of guidebook editor.
- Select "contacts".
- The new block will be automatically placed at the bottom of your existing blocks.
2. Editing "contacts" block
You can change the "Title" of your contact block:
- Click on the "Title" textbox;
- Type in the name of your contact block.
To add more contact details:
- Click on "Add contact field";
- Choose what type of contact you want to add.
Adding a WhatsApp contact details:
- Click on "Add contact field";
- Choose "WhatsApp";
- In the WhatsApp textbox paste in the following text:
- wa.me/[your phone number]
IMPORTANT: For the WhatsApp contact to function correctly, it is important that you follow this format "wa.me/xxx" and replace the "xxx" with your phone number.
Once typing in your phone number:
- Include your country code;
- Avoid any spaces, dashes or other special characters.
For example, if this is was your phone number (555) 555-1234 then this is how you would use the WhatsApp contact field: wa.me/5555551234
To hide the block so it is not visible to your guests:
- Click the "Green slider" button at the top right to hide the block.
- To make the block visible to your guests, simply click the same slider button once again.
Rearrange the order of contacts
- Click and hold your click;
- Drag and drop to rearrange the order of your contact details.
